Successful June

Hey fans,

Great news! Over 100 pages were written in June! Hoping I complete the manuscript by the end of July or early August, just in time for school to start. The release in December looks like it should be a go.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and I’ll touch base again soon. If you ever have any questions, feel free to comment on the blog, and don’t forget to review my books on Amazon!

Sorry, I’ve Been Sick

Sorry that it’s been two months since my last post everyone, but I have been quite sick. The good news is that I’m feeling better, though not quite healthy yet. However, I am healthy enough to begin typing again. Unfortunately, I haven’t typed much in the last two months, but I’m ready to go today and to get going on the third book.

As for what I’m reading, I’ve actually been enjoying a biography on C.S. Lewis by Alister McGrath, as well as some of the James Barclay books, which I’d highly recommend for any fans of Fantasy. Lastly, I’ve enjoyed the series by Matthew Swiontek available on Amazon. They are quick reads, but fun books.

Well that’s all for now and I’ll continue working on the Third book so that it is ready for its December release date.

I can’t believe it’s been over a month since I’ve posted. Unfortunately, I have been sick the last week, but I’m writing some today and working on grading. I won’t truly be able to crank out 10,000 words(ish) a week until Spring Break at the end of March.

As for now, I’m approaching 20,000 words. This will be longer than the first two books with just as many twists and turns. I hope your as excited for Cnut’s next adventure as I am.

Thanks everyone for your support,

Snow in Colorado

Since I’ve had a couple of snow days and don’t have to work, I’ve started working on the third book again and making progress. I usually can’t sit down and type much until I’m done coaching hockey, which will end in the third week of February. Then I’ll really be able to bear down and work on Cnut: Revenge of a Viking Warrior, which will most likely break the 400 page mark.

Stay safe in the weather, and if your outside of Colorado, enjoy the sun!

I’ll update again soon.

Speaking Engagement and Update

I am working on a few exciting things at the moment, including setting up a speaking engagement at a school, which will be a great experience. Additionally, I am close to having an advertising campaign set up with Amazon, which should be a lot of fun to see how it does.

If you are looking for something to watch, the BBC Last Kingdom series, based on Bernard Cornwell’s books “The Last Kingdom” and “The Pale Horseman”, was fantastic. Definitely for an older audience, but very fun all the same.

Coaching is winding down, which means I’ll have significantly more time to work on the third book in the series. I am hoping to have a draft ready by the start of June, so that the editing process and art can begin; this will allow for plenty of time for another December release this year.

Thanks everyone for the continued support.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone! I hope it is a better one than the last.

Progress has been slower than I’d like on the third book, but I’m sure it’ll pick up. As for me, I’ve enjoyed reading Joe Abercrombie, Bernard Cornwell, and Conn Iggulden over break. Fun fantasy and some historical fiction!

‘Til next time.

Christmas Gift

Grab Cnut: Madness of a Viking Warrior for Christmas, or send the books as a gift to family and friends. Cnut: Rise of a Viking Warrior is a great gift! Kindle editions download easily enough and there is no wait on shipping.

Aside from salesmanship, I truly do hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday season and be safe as we finish this year and enter the new year. Additionally, I’d like to thank everyone for their support and truly hope you enjoy the books!

‘Tis the Season

If you are looking for a gift to give, look no further than the Cnut books. Great for teens and up and the book has received great reviews thus far. As the sales close in on 1000 copies sold, I’d love to hit that mark before the new year:) The first and the second are available on Amazon and I am currently working on the third.

Check out the series if you haven’t yet.

As for what I’m reading, I am enjoying Bernard Cornwell’s holy grail series, and awaiting the final installment of Joe Abercrombie’s Half a King series and Conn Iggulden’s Wars of the Roses series. Loving all of these authors and I’d recommend them to anyone.

Have a happy holiday season everyone and I’ll touch base again in January.

One Week Until the Madness

The Kindle edition of Cnut: Madness of a Viking Warrior will be out one week from today. The paperback will be available before then, presumably November 30th. I am excited for the release of the second book and I’m busy at work on the third book, sitting at approximately 15,000 words.

If you read the first one, please leave a review on Amazon, as it helps tremendously. Once the second one comes out and you read it, please leave a review for that one, too. Be sure to recommend my book to friends and family for the upcoming holiday season.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and had a great time with family. I know I had a wonderful time with mine.

Thanks everyone!
